    • I'm 5'3 240 lbs felt I was influencing bike to much feel much better on 883 hd

    • Im 6'1 240. If i dint have the slim bobber seat on my bike i could ride it all day

    • I'm no beginner. Been riding motorcycles forever. Just thinking about getting a smaller bike for putting around the big island of Hawaii. Easy maintenance is a plus. No two up riding. Only has to be able to cruise at 45-55 (no freeways on this island). Not trying to impress anyone. These things are quite popular here, as they are inexpensive, super reliable, a breeze to maintain.

    • Make it your own. I get compliments and looks every trip.

    • I am 6' 32" 260#.. no problem even with gear or passenger.. that is on an '85 250. Btw aloha.. one day I will return too the islands.

    • It would be perfect for the commute you are describing. I'm same size as you but weigh 220lbs. I use mine mainly as a "BarHopper" but I have taken it on the highway numerous times with no problems.(65+ mph).. It will easily get you around town. You can't beat the gas mileage and ease of maintenance on these either. Not to mention they also have almost a "cult" type following, second only to the GratefulDead..lol. And you can find all the parts, aftermarket parts and doo-dads you could imagine on the interweb....if your into that stuff. Pull the trigger on one, you'll be pleased...

    • Ride it .live it .love it! Just beware on a busy freeway because you may not have the acceleration performance needed in a given situation.

    • I'm 5'11", 30" inseam, 247lbs. I like the Rebel just fine. :-)

    • 6'2", 320lbs, my rebel does 89mph

    • Any mods?

    • I dig em especially a bobber.

    • mines a bit chopped up

    • I had a 1985 250 ,35,000 miles and was building a bobber but got a sweet offer on a trade ....so I never got to top speed but being 5'8" - 154 ...I was expecting at least 80 mph. Plenty for the city.

    • No your not. Lol
