Anyone else find the 1100 aero to be a lot wieghtier than other bikes? I don't mean it's so much that I can't handle it but man do I notice a difference when handling other bikes.

    • Yup. Big and long!

    • Exactly! I mean it's not impossible but I man do I feel it! Theres plenty of times I lug it around or catch it as it almost gets the best of me. I REALLY notice it after I handle other bikes. Like my father in-laws ACE. Or my cousins sabre. Gotta be the rake.

    • Master the aero you can almost master anything.

    • Yes. A longer wheel base makes it a little scary too, having to really lean into curves.

    • Took me the better part of one summer to actually feel like the bike was "mine"... hard to get the swing of after having a little 1984 750 Shadow...

    • 1984 750.. ah the bike that looks like a mosquito.. When your on it and over 6 foot

    • lol

    • You know what I'm talking about. I had a 700c.. pretty much same bike seating position. Elbows on the knees kinda bike

    • yes i know exactly what you mean lol... what a difference the new bike makes lol

    • Well, I used to feel that way....definitely. But after 4 years on a Goldwing, now the Aero feels kinda....tiny? LOL. Really.
