    Can anybody explain why there is what looks like a silencer is connected to where the dips stick should be lol :)

    • Elloyd got the right answer never hear of something like that before but thanks it makes sense but why you would need it I have no clue mainly used in turbo cars

    • It would help reduce the water vapour in the oil.

    • No Adam it realises pressure in crank case gota have catch tank for it to be road legal cant be dousing the road in oil can we!!!

    • I know it's for catching oil vapour but it will also catch water vapour and they usually vent into air after the catch tank

    • Because the guy who owns it is a dipstick!! Hahaha

    • haha.didnt know its an oil catch can,,,thought it help cool the engine down. had one before in my old bike,,way way back.
