    • Good luck

    • did this mod on my CB1100F. bulletproof.

    • It's one of my next things to do. After I put a new clutch in it first

    • Got this one from ebay 20$!

    • At one time I thought that I needed a new clutch but I mic it by the manual and it was good. Turned out it was just the cable.

    • Mine is adjusted all the way out it needs a new one the bike has almost 30k on it

    • I'm putting a cable on it too

    • Mine has more than 50. Have you adjusted it at the cover?

    • It's adjusted as far as I can.

    • The clutch handle has play in it and h see hard acceleration it slips

    • I'm talking about the adjustment behind the little flat head screw in the center of your clutch cover.

    • Yes that's all the way in and still the clutch lever on the case had play in it

    • have you adjusted it by the manual? I thought mine was bad too but I miced my clutches and they were good. Scotch-Brite my plates and adjusted by the manual now it's all good.

    • You said the one in the center of the clutch cover is all the way in. It should not be all the way in. You turn it into you feel resistance then back it off a half to a turn. It is very important and if you run it in and don't do it by the manual you will have a slip on acceleration. I've done it buddy trust me. Adjusted by the manual then see what happens. If you have by all means replace the clutches.

    • I did back it off there is free play in that shaft without the cable attached and my clutch dampers are non existent anyways

    • Cool buddy sounds like you're on the right track. Mic your fiber plates before buying new ones. And I would at least red Scotch-Brite non steel plate and make sure they're flat.

    • I'd rather know for sure I have new parts inside

    • I feel that way too until I miced the clutch plates. If you do put new clutch plates in pay close attention to your steel plates. For warpage or overheating.

    • I may just get all new plates altogether

    • They're still available. I kind of like to spend that money on other things. aluminum swing arms and rear set and other things I still ain't back yet

    • Mine is a 900c so all of that isn't an option for me

    • There's always saddlebags sissy bars backrest and stuff like that

    • S*** they even have forward controls for them. I think it's TC Brothers. Heck there's even a guy on dohc custom Forum that has foot boards for them.

    • Not a fan of all that just enjoy riding it
