  • If you lower the foot rests will you not ground out more?

  • Possibly - thats why I asking what others think.

  • I assume you've already adjusted the seat height

  • Yes - I have. The seat is currently in the middle position and I got an AirHawk seat to try.

  • have read about guys taking the rubber pad of the pegs

  • Hmmmm, that will increase vibration. Don't want to go in that direction. I suffer from the secondary vibes on 4 cylinder bikes as it is.

  • Putting it on the high setting might help. I'm short legged but can still comfortably touch the floor with both feet. The higher position helps but the big problem is that the peg position is slightly Rear-wards and this makes the leg angle too tight and also points the toes downwards so if I don't put the balls of the feet on the pegs I scrape / trap my toes on the road! and this is a pain in the ass (& legs!) having to do it for every decent bend. I'm thinking that the pegs should be further forward for more comfort?

  • Have the same problem Paul.

  • I have tried the seat on the high setting and yes, it is slightly better in terms of the legs. However the increased wind battering and feeling of sitting "on" rather than "in" makes it undesirable for me.
