I am still trying to figure out what's rubbing in my Lifan 150 after I reassembled it. I think I may have figured it out but the parts diagram is not very clear. It looks like I am missing either the #9 or 11 washer. I guess I must have lost it somewhere. The washer I do have has 3 legs and I wonder which way they are supposed to point? I had them pointing in but now I pointed the out and reassembled it. It does not seem as draggy but I am not sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated. It is warming up for riding now and the first race is coming up Apr 1st.

This is a great page! Thanks for all the help!!! I purchased the Tusk enduro wiring kit for simplicity sake. Works great with a battery, but wanted to wire it up from the stator using a reg rec. I purchased the reg/rec 12v from Dr. ATV. I have been unable to get it to work from the stator. I wired the positive from the harness to the yellow from the reg/rec and grounded the black wire. from the reg/rec, put the 'left' green wire to the hot wire from the engine(tried other wires coming off the engine as well), but can't get the thing to turn on. I did check to make sure all the other connections have been made. the handdrawn sketch was for just a two wire regulator. Any help would be appreciated.

Have a CT90 frame and want to put GROM wheels and tires on it using a stock GROM swing arm in the rear and stock triple tree in the front. going to try to source used as much as possible using craigslist ebay, etc. Does anyone know if the GROM triple tree will bolt up? too short or too long or too thick? I realize I will have to fabricate in the rear to take the mono shock set up.

I recently bought a apollo 125cc for my nephew. Last night I changed the oil and unintentionally removed the bolt that is holding the cam chain tensioner shaft and spring. I put it back in the same way it came out and proceeded to change the oil.. The oil I put in was conventional that was cold out in the shed so it poured out very thick. I started the bike and heard alot of chatter coming from cam chain side of the engine so I shut it off.. My question is .. Is it possible that I somehow messed up the chain tensioner? Or is the cold oil causing the noise because lack of pressure? Thanks.. Also.. I removed it because I read that some motors have a screen on them that needs cleaning and assumed it was it.

These chineese clone motors bolt into most atc's from the ATC70 to the ATC200s. A lifan 250 electric start with reverse will fit in the atc185s, atc200s, and even the ATC200x.

I am in into the second year of racing with a Lifan 150cc 4 up in my extreme Honda Trail 90. Today I put the 16 tooth front sprocket on and tried to do some speed runs On a bumpy lake bed. I got it up to 50 mph but it Started acting up and jammed when tried to shift into third. It works OK in first and second. The ideas what might be going on in there?

Sorry if it's already been covered, but what's the most cost effective (ie, cheap!) aftermarket exhaust for a CT70 with Lifan 125? I could probably use the stocker if I make new brackets, but it's kinda old and poopy. Oh yeah, and something I can get in Canada? Thanks in advance, all suggestions appreciated!

              Need help!

Does anyone else's motor click like this in neutral? It's yx140. I don't remember if it did this before the chain fell off. There has been two times while riding where it kinda felt similar to chain falling off, like it kind of hops almost. But my chain isn't loose, it's set well. Idk if it's something I should be worried about or not

I was riding the little trail 70 with the Lifan 125 engine and it runs good but seemed to have a slight hesitation on acceleration so I raised the needle and the engine really liked it my question is the clip on the needle was next to the bottom so now its on the bottom witch has the needle all the way up.It has a 22 mikuni with a 95 main jet I'm thinking about going up with the main jet and lowering the needle and see if it helps on top end also. What do you guys think

Well after some negotiations I got the bike for 900 the guy was a jet engine mechanic in the military and the bike is done really nice not sure if I like the dual exhaust or the street tires. The frame and wheels are powder coated I think I'm going to go through the carb and see if it will start there's no fuel in it so thats a plus . I will probably end up putting my electric start 125 engine in it cause my feet are bad but want to hear this one run

If you sell on eBay be wary of this trick a buyer pulled on me. I had a C110 parts motor listed on eBay for 80 bucks or best offer. Buyer offers 78 bucks. I accept. He also said in a message that he wants free shipping. So now I have to pay the shipping of 30 bucks AND THE EBAY FEES ON THE 30 BUCKS...also if he wants his money back I have to pay back 78 bucks even though 30 bucks was for shipping. I strongly suspect this asshole has pulled this trick before on other sellers. Don't fall for it.

Took the little Honda S65 out for a Sunday morning ride. Decided to take a route thru the Morgan-Monroe State Forest. This place is a little Squatchy looking and sure enough, I saw evidence about 1/2 mile into the woods. The classic Squatch trap, a downed tree across the path. Luckily for me, it must have been a young one, not yet experienced in the art of judging the height of a tree, as it didn't block the entire road and I made my escape. The little Honda and I live to ride another day!

We have a local chopper party that runs a "Run What You Brung 125cc Mini Bike" race. The track is gnarly with creek crossings, mud hills, jumps, turns, etc. Last year I built a CT70, this year I'm going with an XL70 frame, SL70 tank & seat, plus a Lifan 125cc semi-auto. The downfall of the CT70 was ground clearance. I went with longer shocks on this one and should have plenty to get over the logs in the track. I'll post pics when we race. It's the weekend of 8/6/16.

*** Breaking News *** I just finished installing a RK 420 heavy duty chain rated for up to 150cc...My previous chain was a RK 420 standard which was rated up to 80cc...the RK standard lasted me almost 3 years before it became sloppy...RK chains are excellent quality chains that are made in Japan and are SENSIBLY priced...the heavy duty chain that I just installed I bought from eBay for $12.75 free shipping...MSRP is about 24 bucks...the seller has more RK chains...my bike shifts much more fluidly into first gear...don't underestimate having an excellent quality heavy duty chain...the worst chain I ever had was Parts Unlimited house brand it kept stretching and wore out super fast.

This is the bike that got me started with Lifan engine swaps. Pulled this bike from a scrapyard back in the late 90's/early 2000's. No engine, just a rolling frame. I put a Lifan 90cc in it and loved it, hits 47/48 with stock gearing. It's the only bike I keep at our lake house for buzzing around the neighborhood. I'm at 1450+/- miles on this engine, never a hiccup. Since this bike, I've now put Lifan's in 29 Honda's in my collection. I'm sold on their durability.
