• Street Legal Crf230f clean Title — Honda bobbers

I have a 05 crf230f that I have converted into a street legal monster. The bike has a full light kit (hi-lo beam, led tail light/brake light , blinkers), horn, and dot approved knobby tires. I recently had the bike inspected and registered so there is still a fill year on the tags. This is an awesome bike to crude around town and jump off and hit some trails.... the bike runs great and is electric start so no kicking. I recently went thru the carb and replace everything. Also put a new filter on. Don't really need to sell it just trying to see what I can get. Also looking to trade for a crf450 or any other 450 dirt bike. Lmk what you got..2500 obo

Alrighty another fun filled question about my money pit. Haha I've got the velocity stacks and open exhaust and appropriate jetting for such mods. New issue is that it's spitting fuel from 1 pipe. Thought maybe condensation from what I've read on line but it is indeed fuel as it caught on fire. No harm it went out right away. Did some research and was suggested that it's the float valves I've ordered new ones and should be here today. Does this sound like I'm on the right track? Anyone else have this issue and what was your fix? Thanks PFA

Okay so I have this 1995 vlx 600 this thing has been nothing but a headache for me since day one. I bought the bike it needed carbs I bought the carb second-hand allegedly ready to run. Well that was not the case I struggled for months to figure out why it wouldnt start yada yada yada and I realize I needed air fuel mixture screws. well when I bought those I went ahead and bought the velocity Stacks and the jet kit great everything's great. I got it up and running but now it seems like the bike will go into gear and shifts fine but once I hit like the top speed it just kind of won't go anymore and I know it really should so it's very slow to accelerate any ideas also I'm stripping the carbs right now as I'm writing this and I just now realize that one needle is actually skinnier and pointier then other needle is that a problem? Also I went to start it before tearing down and it appeared to spit fuel from the pipe.

Only mods to the bike are velocity stacks and jets kit and chopped pipes/ open exhaust

I have an 83 shadow 750.. When I try to start it, the starter barely moves the engine. It also makes a strained squelching sound.. Almost like it's trying to turn , but something is stopping it.

I just redid whole harness. New battery. Pulled starter out and checked it over. It was fine and spins good out of motor.. I raised back tire and put in 6th, and spun tire. Hard to spin.. But will move and can hear pistons moving..so engine ain't locked up..

Anybody have any ideas or tricks that will pinpoint problem, w/o me havin to tear engine apart?

I also hit starter w power direct.. Same.. It'll barely move, if at all.

Hey guys, it's been a while since working on this 85 vt700c that my buddy wrecked a year ago. Now trying to put it all back together but I have no clue what these wires connect to. I don't see anything they plug into.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, I just haven't touched this bike in a while and I lost my notes and pics I took when disassembling it.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Trying to get it going to sell it. Into supermotos now. Thanks.

(If anyone is in or near Sacramento, CA and want to buy it off me for 1k I have hella upgrade parts for it and it's almost back together.)

Couple days ago I picked up this complete 06 honda shadow aero 750. It's been sitting a while so it needs a good amount of tlc. the guy wanted it gone and charged me 300 bucks with the title. I bought a new battery and got it turning over. dropped it off at the shop today for a tank reseal and carb clean and rejetting. The pipes were cut so I'm going to play around with what I've got and probably throw some turn downs on it and heat wrap. The fenders will be removed. Z bars installed and solo seat put in once I hear it start up. Getting very excited for what's to come with it...

Well, some of you will remember "Patience", built bout 4yrs ago. Getting her ready for the season here. When I built her I ditched the airbox for pods. After a few yrs of riding, I'm constantly having to re-seat the carbs because it being a hardtail now, I'm thinking it vibrates the carbs loose from boots over time. Tired of doing this repeatedly. Apparently the airbox supported the carbs and now the only support they have is the boots and throttle cables, which ain't gonna cut it. Anyone ever have this prob?, and anything suggestions on fixing. Please...no smart-ass comments like "put the box back on". Way past that point. Thanks guys. Have a safe day.

I'm in desperate need of some help/advice.

I haven't rode in about 4 months, today I went to go for a ride and she wouldn't start so I went out and bought a brand new battery. I put it in and she started right up, as soon as I went to adjust the choke I can see gas spilling from behind the lil cap that's there next to the choke and I have no clue what to do.. can someone plz point me in the right direction, thanks a million in advance.

Ps. It's no leaking from the hose, it's coming out of the bottom.

Cb 650 Project W A Bunch Of Odd Stuff To Get It Together

I had some ideas in mind for where this was going to go. The engine runs good but the wirings yanked out of it right now and there's no battery. I guarantee it runs I parked it last summer. I had bought a different Hardtail frame to throw everything on but I was given a better offer for it out right so I sold it.I have a padded seat pan with the parts and would be willing to do a custom leather work for whoever decided to take this project.there is no title for it right now but I can get one. It is not stolen it's just been sitting after somebody else hobbled it together. I rode it a couple times before dismantling the mess that it was. Best offer takes it I just need the room back in my garage

Make me an offer. Needs just about everything done to it, but the engine runs and it has real good bones. Great project for someone who has the time & energy. Also have a Corbin Cafe Racer seat, and 4 Lester Mags.

    cb650 project — Honda bobbers

Picked this up about a year ago and it ran great even though there was a ton of stuff cobbled together. It was a fun fast and nimble death trap when I parked it. I'm out of space in my garage and I have a bunch of stuff to go with it...including a full seat and a solo seat pan, handle bars and brand new chrome levers /controls .I had a different frame it was all gonna go in but got a good offer for it. Best offer takes it . No title I want to keep the front wheel and fishtail exhaust extensions.

1973 Honda CB750 title and pre 1978 CB750 carbureators and 77' k model seat sissy bar and grab bar — Honda bobbers

Carbs are 70.00 shipped for the 77's, 100.00 shipped on the roundtops and the title is 100.00 and no I won't take less. The carbs need a cursory cleaning but look to be great candidates internally. Title is an Indiana clean and open 1973. If someone needs more than one set of carbs I will do a discount. 1977 CB750 seat, sissy bar and grab bar combo is 100.00 shipped. Need this stuff gone. Thanks for looking.

I'm looking for comparison photos of how low this kit lowers the bike compared to my current hardtail wishbone. I already own this, I took the photo, but I'm debating on wasting my time installing it if it's going to raise my bike from its current stance. Thank you!

Boys and girls I have a question for you all — Honda bobbers

Boys and girls, I have a question for you all.

I have just made a complete new wiring loom on by bobber build and all seems to be fine, lights, indicators brake light etc all working. I've not tried to start the bike yet as its not complete but it does turn over.

One thing that does happen is that the bike turns over with the run/kill switch in the off position. I've tried 2 different switch gear units and they are the same. Does the standard wiring loom do this? its a 1980 CB750

I thought it was worth checking before unwiring and looking for issues

I know most bobbers don't like high tech new colored gauges, but the Koso stuff is a nice. I recently came across an amazing deal for a Koso RX2-GP gauge. These are 300+ dollar gauges this guy is letting go much much cheaper. If you Aten interested, let me know and I'll give you his FB name and that $95 (already awesome price) is more like $50.

This is not bullshit. Just sharing a great deal I came across. I do not make a thing out of this.
