I've had my Forza for a couple of weeks now, and am enjoying it more each time that I ride it.

I had a dentist's appointment last week, and it looked like a good chance of rain. I guess that the seat is waterproof, but it got me thinking about a rain cover, and after looking at what was available commercially, I made my own. Cost was about 8 pounds, and it didn't really take too long once I had made a template of the seat using polythene sheet.

So here is Sid modelling his new shower cap. I chose ripstop nylon in an 'Urban 'Camouflage' pattern rather than a plain colour. I cut the material with an old soldering iron (to seal the cut edges), and glued it with contact adhesive. A metre of elastic was the other cost. You can buy stretch nylon fabric fora better fit, but I am told that it is not waterproof.

On my way home work tonight at 7pm and at a junction just around the corner from I live a Taxi reversed into me, damaging my front fender. Its gonna cost about £80 to order one. I have his details and he admits liability. As you can see in the pictures the front fender is pressed against the tyre so the wheel has difficulty turning.
