My bike failed to start this morning but after a few attempts she started as normal. This is probably just a one-off. I had my Idling switch ON and never had any issues with it but would this affect the battery in any way as a bike won't start if the battery is low or dead or battery leads are loose?

I just removed the dust sheet from my Forza, and noticed a nut on the left side running board. At first I thought that it may have fallen from a shelf above the scooter, but a small amount of investigation revealed a nut missing from the rear brake lever!

I mention this just in case it is something that may be a problem with the Forza 125. I wouldn't fancy the brake lever coming off when I needed to stop quickly!

Hey guys — Honda Forza 125 Forum UK

Hey guys.

Got a question on which you may have the answer from your experience.

I am about to get a job which would be a distance of 50miles each way, 100miles in total commute per day for nearly a month.

What's are your thoughts on this ? Would the bike handle it, is it healthy for the bike etc ?

Thanks in advance

Also want to give some valuable insight on recent incident.

Its kinda a obvious that I'm far away not the only one who like brand new scooter...

Thus recently some junkies tried to steal it by old fashion way by bending the handle bar in order to break steer blocking.

The front wheels disc alarm was glued by tape, in order to avoid shaking and activating alarm . (apparently it works )

How ever Honda has been proved that they had been working on scooters security and instead of breaking the wheel block all they manage to do is bend my handle bar. (that I beleave was intentionally made softer than the protection system of wheel)

Lucky was insured so got away with some stress and waisted time.

Pictures bellow.

I'm still finishing off my scooter shed, so I dutifully work in the mornings, and then ride in the afternoons. Today I have been on the Quantocks, with this shot taken at Hawkridge Reservoir. I find myself feeling sympathy for those in cars, but may not be so compassionate when the winter arrives. ;-)

Another thing that I want to share and ask for an advice is regarding buying spare parts in Europe.

Recently some junkies tried to steal it bay trying to break my front wheal block by pushing handle bar.

In a result (luckily) all they manage to do is bend my handle bar and bend some plastic due to added force during the venture...

So I need to buy a new handle bar, but my retailer sell it for 165EUR

Is there any advice where can I get it cheaper online?

P.S. I have attached pictures in comments.

Ok so my bikes now 11500 odd miles old, around 9k it started too loose it's top end speed, it can still hit red line on most long straights but it's gone from 82 on the clocks to 75 on the clocks hitting the rev limiter

Now it's just had a service, and a brand new belt (which I assumed was the issue)

And still the lower top end persists, which is a big issue as it now means my rides down the a23 are spent up against or on the limitier which is clearly not a great thing.

I guess it's back to Honda too see what they say! Also to note they found my head bearings had failed so they are on order for replacement
