    • I believe its engine vibration, tires are new. Need to take a long ride and could be at least 2 hrs one way. He has to run smooth before I head out. Any suggestions welcome.

    • Gloves with a padded palm. they also have slip on padded hand grips for your bars

    • Change oil, clean carb, change sparkplugs, lube chain. Is it a new bike?

    • Did all that its a '96 was garage kept only had 7200 on it when I bought last september. I put almost a thousand on it since then. Its emmaculate.

    • Has it always vibrated

    • Yes, I am a new rider this is my first bike. So wasn't sure if this was a honda rebel thing or not.

    • Mine is an 87 it vibrates a little but when I first got her she vibrated a ton. I cleaned and changed everything I could. I think my problem was a clogged carb. She's a champ now! Almost 40000 on her!

    • So, its just a rebel thing then. I was going to have it checked out by our honda dealer just in case.

    • If they will do a free little check on her it wouldn't hurt.

    • Carbs... Mine vibrated a lot till I did a carb jet kit. I don't need the choke now most of the time to turn on and it fixed the vibrations at 3/4 to red line. I also adjusted my chain tension.(it was very loose) . oh and yes you can drive them for more then 1hr. I've done 2hrs and sometimes more.
