I am trying to sort out sizes of main bearings and big ends for the 900 rebuild. From how i understand the manual you have letters for the mains and numbers for the big ends but on my webs there are 2 letters together. What does this mean ???

    • I can't see it and I'd have to see the manual to tell you but with all that said just make it easy and use all yellows. I was unsure of it but went ahead and did it and I have no issues whatsoever

    • The numbers are on top of the rear engine mounting and the crank has colours on it to donate the inner bearing size of the main bearings

    • That should be letters on the engine mounting

    • The crank does not have any colours on it. I know about the letters on the crankcase. That is the easy bit. I also know from the manual about letters on the crank for the mains and numbers for the big ends. What i am trying to find out is why there are 2 letters together on the webs on the crank

    • Just use the Yellow bearings for all like Terry said and you will be Golden. Just my two cents.

    • yellow is ok for the big ends..... the mains only have green and brown advertised at david silvers
