I got a problem I broke my rear end on my 2012 420 es and the drive shaft is...
How does that even happen?
I was in neutral and I guess it didn't shift and I gased it and pop so I got front wheel drive atm
My friend said ring and pinion gears
Your ring and pinion gear broke off
Do you how much it will cost for parts and labor or is it easy to fix
The parts 150$ plus if it broke like your describing you dented your primary bearing and you'll have to open the diff to fix the ring and pinion gear so you'll have to put 30$ new seals and 40$ primary bearing and the ring and pinion gear is pretty hard to get out of its ever had mud or water in it
If it's had mud water in it probaly take 3 hours at a professional at a Honda shop 75$ an hour! I get you a brand new oem Honda rear diff and put it in for 475$ and it will last way longer! When nine got rebuilt last year only lasted 7 months and my friend who put a brand new in his and his is still perfectly fine
Ok thank you I'll keep you in contact and I'll talk to my dad about this I really appreciate it
Anytime man and j highly recommend not rebuilding it!
