    • Josh to be honest I think the yuminashi 160 kit is a better choice, I seen the video from Japan and it was hitting 93mph ! These 250r engine conversions seem to struggle at 70+ mph from what I saw on the video

    • I definitely would not put a Yuminashi kit on my bike!

    • The 250 engines have almost 24hp and are good for 87mph in their original Cbr body...

    • Why Jack ? Friend in France has it and my cuz has the ultimate kit with stand alone ecu and been running mint for last 11 months.

    • I've heard nothing but horror stories of Yuminashi stuff! There is a reason 90% of Groms use either Finbro or Takegawa :)

    • Ye I'm a Takegawa fan lol and heard a few story's myself but the two people I know who actually have the Yuma kits have both come from problems with kitco and Takegawa kits lmao maybe poor installation, and why the heck does that CBR engine grom that was posted up look as if its struggling after it hits 70? Lol also thought it would be a beast until seeing the video

    • I'd rather find an air cooled engine.

    • Rs 250 engine would make it a lot of fun :)

    • Didnt a member tried the Takegawa 143 kit and blew up his engine? :/

    • I have a friend here that had a yuminashi 164cc cilinder on his bike for the past 2 years whith any problem at all. Just changed this week for a FinBro, because he had a good deal on a used 183cc.

    • Never heard of the 143 kit blowing the engine?

    • Jack i think he means the american guy whos Takeg 143 detonated ,he put a video up ages ago and on youtube, his piston and head was fried lmao

    • And we discover that all the problems off the finbro kit whith the stupid revs, cant mantaining revs and so are all cause off finbro ecu. We change the ecu to the yuminashi one and she works very well, no more problems whith cold start at all!

    • Pedro Castro this is what my cuz said ! that yuminashi stand alone ecu is top class

    • Yap, just to say that the yuminashi stand alone you can see and change all the values on a pc, and finbro one you cant do anything thats why it haves so many problems whith the cold start

    • FinBro kits runs great, just need a different ecu. The FinBro one is unusable in cold countries

    • Yep, i like my Takegawa parts but going for the Yum kit cause its a better package in my opinion and i have two people close to me who have been running them with no issues and these guys both do track days and hammer the hell out their engines , so im trusting their experience with the parts. Not to say Finbro and TakeG dont make good parts cause they do ! just my preference.

    • Yup, i understand that like we say here "preferences are preferences", i personaly lyke more the finbro kits. But like i said this guy whas runing a yuminashi one whith the stock head valves, and he hammer that thing like a crazy guy never had any problem at all.

    • Click this link then the facebook link to see one 450cc Grom :) http://www.gromforum.com/forum /2014-grom-general-discussion- forum/28290-450cc-grom.html

    • Air cooled are pretty shocking depending on how you ride tbh if your on a ride with aload of people and going slow and stopping alot there not good aload of peoples at the Matlock run nearly overheated because they was not moving enough

    • Ive tried e Yuminashi light bore 164...wit gears, big body throttle, injector,FI system controller, camshaft ON MY HONDA PCX 125 n YES IT HIT 158km/h n acceleration was superb!! Even a Z600 guy jaws wanna drop hehehe
