    • Vfr750 or straight bar conversion

    • Do u know what vfr clipons go on don't fancy the look of the straight bar conversion

    • Seen a conversation kit, with longer braided lines and bars on eBay today.

      Item number 272178857013

    • I did give the vfr750 bars a go and even skimmed 3mm off the bottom to aid clearance but the throttle assembly still hit the fairing. On the plus side, you won't need longer lines.

Going to fit a Gilles kit over Easter and see how that goes.

    • Found some bar risers don't fancy putting renthal bars on

    • My '06 had the standard bars raised by previous owner. They are raised up the sliders by 20mm, and have an extension locating peg made by drilling and threading the existing one and fitting a 5mm bolt. The head of the bolt rests on the tope yoke clamp bolt.

    • Did that make any difference

    • Dont know as I have not tried it without the bars raised. Last time I rode a standard Storm was 1990mumble and I was a lot younger so did not notice the bars. Nowadays I am a bit geriatric so even a small raise helps the old bones.

    • James Thomason If you search the Superhawk site there is a lot of info on the VFR bars that fit. Not all models are interchangeable.
