My haphazard test to get the battery to charge from the lighting coil on my 1978 Honda XL250. I wanted to convert the system so I bought a trail tech regulator/Rec and hooked it up to pink and yellow per other members here and 13.8 volts! Thank you guys for helping me out! I'm beyond excited I'll be able to put 12 volt lighting on this bike, makes life a lot easier!

    • just change the rectifier and match it with a YB2.5LC battery

    • Oh no it's all working with that 4 cell lithium.

    • I'm gonna wire it all better, that was just a test to make sure it was good before spending time routing the wires

    • YB2.5LC ....no need to modfy your battery holder

    • I don't have one. PO removed it

    • if you hooked it up directly to your headlight (White wire), Trailtech would work, it only needss 9 volts

    • Well I'm in the process of adding all the lights to make it street legal again.

    • I see, keep it up

    • John Earl A. Dosayla thanks for the help!

    • Great stuff glad it worked
