    • get some bar risers, a more comfy seat and a flip screen, it makes the storm a lot more comfortable over long distances.

PRM ATV New aftermarket Nerf Bars!

    • Ok guys. I called PRM today. If any of you were wondering, the nerf bars will fit the stock motor skidplate (not shown in pics). However, the aftermarket PRM aluminum one like I have on my 350x will have to have 3/4 of inch shaved off the top to fit. All nerf bars will come with instructions on how to shave the plate if you have one like I do. Orders will ship out same day if you order.

    • What's price on skid plate?

    • I think it was 79.00 for the PRM skid plate

For my yellow storm off their eBay shop as they also trade as mini ha ha spares 59.99 4 yrs ago, then paid around £65 for daves a while after that, they ain't cheap so that one has to be the absolutely cheapest one out there. Im not bothered about their price,it was my preference, mine's smoked, daves is clear..

    • Well , to be honest, these parts are normally all produced in the far east, the only difference between them is the salesprice. The electronic components are produced by only a small number of factories overthere. They produce for all motorcycle manufactureres and use partly the productioncapacity to produce aftermarket with private label. It's the same with the HID kits and lots of other products like rectifiers, coils etc. The world is getting smaller and smaller :-)

Hey all.. was wondering any of you would be kind enough to give an opinion.. Bit of a long story but things for me as far as money goes... well lets just say it's gloomy lol As much as I don't want to i'm considering selling my bike. I know it's wrong time of year but it may end up case of needs must. Iv'e looked on ebay.. watched loads of bikes recently but I still don't have a clue what would be a reasonable price to ask if i go this route. Don't want to give the bike away obviously but that said if i do decide to sell I want to price it so hopefully it goes.

Bike is on a S '98 44k miles and as far as I know it want's for nothing. 5 maybe 6 months MOT although i could stick a new one on and about 3 months tax. Bought it last January and have done about 3k miles on it, since iv'e had it iv'e fully serviced it, oil oil/air filter EBC HH pads all round, all new wheel bearings, Honda CCT's just over 2k miles ago, new brake/clutch fluid, tyres, discs, sprokets etc all got fair amount of wear left in them. It's got cut down ART pro series 2 cans or I have a near mint pair of Scorpion cans with removable baffles. New r&g bar ends, new black cnc levers, new coloured braided lines, new rear iridium indicators, seat cowl, spare seat, spare double bubble screen plus a few extra bits. Also it had had the R/R changed before I bought it for a finned one.

Certainly will not be selling if i don't have to but trying to get some ideas just in case I have to.

Some may recall the book ‘Jonathan Livingstone Seagull’ by Richard Bach (1970).

So if I may ... to paraphrase one of the better known quotes which, for me, is apt >>>

The motorcyclist spoke of very simple things- that it is right for a biker to fly his colours, that freedom is the very nature of his being, that whatever stands against that freedom must be set aside, be it ritual or superstition or limitation in any form.

"Set aside," came a voice from the multitude, the voice of beige, the un-reasoned voice, the voice of the repressor ... "even if it be the Law of the Flock?"

"The only true law is that which leads to freedom," the motorcyclist said. "There is no other.”

    • I ride year year round here in Arkansas. Some mornings that 40 mile trip to work is pretty chilly.

    • Actually the brand I use, and most people I know, is Battery Tender. You can put an attachment on the battery that plugs in for power and when you don't need it you can tuck it away under the side cover. Also very handy if you get the adapter to use for a power supply unit. I bought the 800 model which is waterproof since my bike sits out in the weather. Less than $40 on Amazon.

    • My job is fixing old injuries, but I know you are in Wales (people travel a long way sometimes) have a look at my site tho, you may find something useful for your back. I have got bikers with back problems back on their racing bikes, and a man in traction back to work and able to lift again. oxfordpainclinic.com

    • I had traction yrs ago, which helped a lot as it gave the prolapsed disc room to ease off the trapped nerve it was crushing. I've had every drug, incl some real nasty ones..and also had acupuncture twice, I have 4 disc bulges, permanent damage to the nerves and very poor reflex below my right knee downwards. I have one nasty little disc bulge 'pushing itself' on a main nerve and it has to be 'shaved back by operation' as nothing can relief the pain as it is a constant. I'm seeing a back specialist really soon now as had a pro lapsed disc skiing, which originally caused the initial injury 10 yrs ago, it has deteriorated dramatically over the past 5 yrs.. I know that once the disc is shaved back off that nerve, it cannot make any further contact with it and will dramatically reduce the pain significantly. I'll keep you posted :p

    • Just thought I'd offer, if you are happy with what is being suggested that's fine. What I would do is treat the current problem and the old skiing injury. Many people come to me after they have had operations that don't necessarily do what's advertised. A current patient has had the bulging disc op, but it didn't help at all, now wishes she'd come to me first. A current skiing/knee injury patient has had 5 ops and flown for treatment in the states. It's taken me 4 weeks (2 hours a week) to get him able to live more normally, he will need a few more yet, but he's well happy, someone who saw him recently said he's walking on air. The problem as I see it is that the medical model sees the human body as a bike, a machine that needs bits replaced. In fact it's a river that's got blocked & just needs a bit of dredging, then it will flow again normally itself. If you get the analogy.
