Crazy thought but I wish I could get on my bike and get to a certain speed and lift off the ground like a plane. Yet not to high to engage my fear of heights. That is about as likely as e ever ever being able to afford to learn how to pilot a plane. Guess I must settle for being grounded. Guess I have something in common with teenagers. Being grounded. ;) Go Rebel Riders!!

    • I just sent the link, let me know once you've got it.

    • I have had fuel leak from an overflow hose under bike when I have taken 5 minutes to fill the tank right up.

    • cool!

    • Mine is 250 cc. I bought Honda Rebel in Austin Texas. Now I am living near Tyler about 100 miles east of Dallas. I love it. I wonder if "Rebel" bikes will not obey the normal 250 cc bikes such as Virgo or Suzuki because Rebels are so fast and faster than Virago and Suzukis. Lol

    • cool! I too love ma Rebel. It really is one damn good bike!

Nice to hear from you Misha. I am from Sri Lanka.

Yeah.. Rebels are faster than others, I guess! Lol

    • I'd like to go without mine helmet but my head means more to me than a little more breeze does. Not saying if I did go down I wouldn't get badly hurt but I am sure the helmets were invented for a reason. ;)

    • Why would you need more speed when a Rebel goes the speed limit and then some?

    • I live in a town of HARLEY and even though my Rebel was hard core it was the laughing stock of the local club! I even almost got into a fight with a guy for making fun of my rebel, it ruff out here to many MANGOLS and HELLS ANGELS! So i had to ride HD but I hope the guy that took it off my hands has a fun time with it as i did.

    • Has been well kept then - I love the 125's - and have enjoyed many miles on mine, and spent quite a bit on mods too.... if ever you need help or advice just ask me (I've got an intimate knowledge of them from running the old owners club)

    • Wow! I wish mine looked that good!

    • Thanks I'm glad you like it. When I got it in the Spring of 2006 it only had like 236 miles on it. For a 4 year old bike at the itme I thought that was good. To this day it has 2 thousand something on it. The original owner got it new learned how to ride and that quick traded it in for something bigger. She is the one that had the windshield put on it.

OK, I have something wacky- had my brakes done at beginning of season along with new tires. My mechanic said my rear disks are OK- I have about 28,000 miles on 2006 Shadow-after a couple of months, front brakes are fine, but rear brakes SQUEAL just before complete stop-not at first, but just before stop. Not brake dust, I Simply greened and heavy rinsed the entire bike, tires, engine, etc. Any ideas?

    • I forget off of the top of my head, but they were not ceramic

    • Just like a car......if you spray wax your Aero, or even touched the brake rotor with bare hands it will leave a film and cause brake squeal. Grease and oil are the biggest contributors to brake squeal. I use gloves when working on any brake system, and have never had a problem. I have ceramic pads front and rear on my 99, and love em.

    • I had some squeal on my rear, but on a 750 the rear is drum. I had adjusted the pedal with my new floorboards and wasn't pressing the pedal hard enough and the pads glazed over. I just used a little emery cloth on the pads to remove the glaze and readjusted the pedal.
