    • Staying this way :(

    • :)

    • The bike will run very lean with it like that

    • That's why he got 65 in 3rd it'll make more power but it will over heat and work it

    • Calm down guys the air box lid is back on it

    • I think it's great someone tried, i.e Rob

    • put a wideband and see how lean is running

    • Okay if ur right and it runs lean like that....then why do they make induction kits for them....

    • I was talking with the lid off lol.

    • Yeah so am I...talking about an open air filter/induction kit

    • You have to have a power commander to balance the fuel up to the air ratio then it would make more power without being dangerous :)

    • Can't I trick the ecm into thinking it's cold permanent?

    • That will be my next thing an exhaust a cam and a power commander

    • Tbh I reckon it's really lean prob at the max haha as I noticed it straight away

    • Do I have to reset the ecm and tps now I've done air filter

    • the correct procedure to reste the ecu is in sectíon four of the full service manual in the files section at the topmof the group. i've also uploaded a jpeg of the relevant page. this resets the ecu to extra-rich, then over about 10 miles or so it leans ot back slowly until the o2 sensor picks up the sognal. works like a charm.

    • this should allow you open filter setup to run fine. it won't work with the larger bbks, as the ecu only listens to the oxygen sensor for a small proportion of the engine operating range, and the bbks are just too different from stock for this. also, the 'target' setting for the sensor is quite lean for good economy, too lean for a high compression bbk. for a stock motor with exhaust and intake, the reset should be fine though, stops it running even leaner than lean :-)

    • I wouldn't risk it personally

    • Thank you Gavin Davies

    • I would...don't try u won't learn

    • can be done using a paper clip to short the two terminals :-)

    • That's what I wanted to know what colours do I join

    • good spot! should be able to go by the picture, but i'll upload a better version. honda put the info on a different page!

    • Your better off getting a BBK

    • Will one day...

    • you will need to clean it every 5 miles
