Riding home from work this morning and riding through some pitch black lanes I had to use my high beam which is totally useless, is there a better standard type bulb to replace the existing one?

I'm not looking to mess around with an led type upgrade or anything just want to replace the bulb.

    • HID projectot kit with halo eye in an old CBR. Really bright and an awesome cut off

    • Fit an Eager Beaver relay kit with a good quality bulb.

    • Osram night breakers work for me

    • I use a H4 rainbow 55/60W bulb. Designed for bad weather. Use em in my car as well. Got 3 spare if local to Grimsby, and you have same type of bulb?

    • I have the extra bright phillips also, the bike version is better restant to vibrations of the bike, we all know the vtr vibrates haha!

    • You can get a 100W H4 rainbow bulb, a pair for £9 on ebay. Not exactly legal, but bright. :0). And a green LED in my side light, and a fog laser on the rear. Shines red skulls on the road.

    • Why a green led?

    • The LED bulbs are bright than standard bulbs, and green because red ones you might mistake for a rear light, and not blue, bcoz I don't want to be mistaken for a plod pmsl. If you see a green light in your mirror you'd look twice lol.

    • i used this one nd its a straight swap with the brightness increased dramatically

    • Get upgraded halogen bulbs, they consume the same power as standard 55 watts ish, but are better at converting that energy into light. I think the latest ones claim to be about 100% brighter.

I use Osram Night Breakers ☺
