So I have a 2014, honda rancher 420 and I had a bad seal so my husband took the rear end out and did some upkeeping and replacing and now it's clunking continuously sometimes then at varied times other time, this all he did he Pulled swingarm. removed axle nut pulled axle out. Separated the chunk from the tubes. Clean tubes out. Replaced outer swingarm/axle bearings. Add grease alemite to both tubes and to chuck. Put everything back together. Flushed chuck with gear oil till clean. Filled chuck 50/50 with oil and grease and filled both tubes with grease. Went a ride Saturday at carters and it started making a Clunking noise like axle moves inside swingarm or swingarm bolt is loose or grit in bearing. Doesn't feel like chunk is going out. My husband thinks he tightened axle nut too tight but didn't think it would hurt unless it was pinching a bearing somehow? Any help or ideas on what is could be would be appreciated! Jonathan Clem
