    • honda shadow aero 750....sits low and is a great bike for persons that are not too tall

    • That really doesn't classify as a sport touring!. But that's the bike I've been looking at

    • i jumped to answer and didnt even see the touring....sorry

    • Yeah not sport touring, but I'm 4'11" and lowered my Spirit 750 2.5" with the scootworks kit

    • Surely you can find a better answer in sport touring or bike specific groups. Just search whatever it is you wanna ride

    • Have you looked at the CTX700 and the NC700?

    • I'm 5'4 and ride a 750 Honda Aero and still my knees bend so it's for short people

    • Yeah nc700 is too tall ctx has a good seat height. But I hate the front of it. Wish it was more like the old st front

    • Yeah I will probably end up going with a 750. Iam 5ft

    • I personally recommend the vt800c 1988 this motorcycle can be modified to out preform vt1100 and if you really want to got all out upgrade the motor. Supercharger reject carbs and if you by a bigger bike change suspension and drop the motorcycle lower

    • Not that Honda Shadow 1100 it's too heavy but the seat is only 27 inches high

    • My vt800 out performs most 1100 I can out run some of my buddies Harley's. With the vt800 supercharged

    • Sport + touring is going to raise the bike or the bags would drag in corners. Probably need separate bikes to get sport or touring and low seats. Let us know what you find.

    • Honda Shadow custom Spirit

    • Nice bike . What is scootworks kit? What does it do and price ? If it lowers what does it lower or how ?Does it interfer with turning , cornering in curves, does it bottom out any time ?

    • Kate Schaffer I sat on a 883 sportster fit me great but I don't want a Harley that's like buying a Ford!.

    • Are you just getting into riding? Or just getting into sport touring?

These shadows are very under powered compared to a sport bike or the same displacement.

I'd you're just beginning, I highly highly recommend a 250 - 500cc (honda makes perfect bikes in this class)

Don't let did tell you you'll get bored of the lack of power either. Power doesn't mean fun. My grom is a blast to ride every time, and my drz 400 gets the most butt time over the shadow even and a KTM super adventure.

    • Just Starting actually wanna start doing funeral escorts

    • Oh awesome. If I had to start again I'd get myself a cb500x I want one still.

I started on a Yamaha maxim and it was way too much. Luckily it didn't run right so I had a couple weeks of half power before it was sorted out. (75hp)

    • Taylor St.Pierre if I can get something Im going get something that looks like it's big brother!. Favorite is the st1300.

    • If you're just starting out you'll likely drop it if that's the case.

1300cc is not a beginner bike size motor...

My ktm is a 1300, it's the equivalent of a 600hp car on the road, if that gives you a sense of the scale.

Imagine if you'd started out driving a 600hp car..

Even a 1300cc cruiser is a serious hand full starting out.

    • Taylor St.Pierre yeah I was just saying it's one of my favs plus iam only 5ft

    • Lol oh sorry. So many riders start out too big and so many others recommend it. Generally people wipe out their first bike, like we do our first car.

Just lookin out for ya buddy

    • Taylor St.Pierre my first car is still siting in the barn lol

    • Lol mines Broken. Suzuki sidekick. I ran it so hard the motor blew.

    • Taylor St.Pierre Father son project truck. Dad passed away before it was finished. I think we got someone to finish it 89 single cab chevy

    • Oh yeah. Hang on to that one.

Mine was a Suzuki sidekick, pretty well the best starter car a kid could wish for. But the frame was broken and the head was cracked by the end.

Bought it for 3500 sold it got 300.

Got a photo of the truck?
