    What is the most preferred front and rear sprocket set up that you think gives better overall performance than the standard stock set up, which I think is 14 / 34.?

    • Right so it all depends (this is all assuming the bike is stock engine wise) on what you want you want awesome acceleration but for it to top out at about 50-55 go 14/37 if you want better acceleration if you want it to top out at about 60-65 and have a bit more punch off the line and thought the gears go 14/35 (BTW with a 14T sprocket on the front the speedometer over reads by 18%) if you want the best of both worlds go 15/35 that one tooth extra on the back helps a little bit as well. Tried all these combinations myself and just because I have to do A roads sometimes I keep it 15/35 but otherwise I would have 14/35 if it was only city and country lanes.
