    • The Greenwich Meridian?

    • That might work. But im standard eastern aus +10+1 so......

    • What are you trying to do?

    • Somewhere near Uluru then?

    • Measure rear wheel parallel...:)

    • In the past i have just used a rule from the rear of the swimgarm to a point on the adjusters, as i have read that the factory graduations are'nt accurate.

      Does anyone use another method?

    • I bought a laser level finder. It shines a dot out if one end and a line out of the other end.

I rested a metal bar against the rear tyre (anything that is straight will work). Then placed the laser level against the bar. This gave a straight vertical line shining towards the front of the bike. Then place a box or something resting against the front wheel. Mark where the laser lines up on the box and then repeat on the other side.

If the wheels are aligned the distance between the edge of the box and the mark will be the same on each side. Adjust until they are the same.

The laser level only cost £29 and I can now put up level shelves too.

Easier with two people but possible on your own.

    • I figured your trying to do wheel alignment. But your also trying to make sure the rear is true inside the swim arm also?

    • Yep thats right.
