• WTB. FL400R powerblock clutch. is anyone selling a powerbock clutch for a pilot

WTB: FL400R powerblock clutch. is anyone selling a powerbock clutch for a pilot? my stock clutch is worn pretty bad and where im porting, polishing the cylinder & decking the head, i feel like i need a better clutch to get all that power to the ground properly. the newer & nicer the better..

    • Get a comet

    • have you used a comet clutch before on your pilot? thats what i have on my fl350, but i thought the recommend clutch for the pilots were the powerblock clutches.

    • Yes I have. I've heard nothing but problems on the powerblocks.

    • Powerbloc clutches are really good and are a no maintenance clutch. The comet clutches require maintenance and are kind of loud. Single best power improvement I made was changing the stock clutch to power bloc

    • thanks. thats kind of the impression that i got also. i have several pilots, so i guess i could get one of each & check them against each other.

    • All the work your gonna do to engine is gonna be held back without a good clutch. I loved my comet on my fl350. Never touched it since day i put it on

    • I disagree. They are the best you can get. Solid clutch.

    • I have one for Fl250. I don't think it will work but I honestly don't know. Fl250 is 30mm tapered shaft if I remember right.

    • nope. all the buggies are different.
